Hi! I’m Ian, founder of Toy Box Studios. Fifteen years ago, I transitioned from a career in journalism, where I shot and edited for major news outlets, to focus on capturing love stories through weddings.
I’ve been doing this long enough to know that the camera is the least important part of the job.
What actually matters is awareness — of people, timing, energy, and the small things that don’t announce themselves. That’s where good images come from.
